This quilted jacket by GOZZ combines a classic look with a comfortable fit. The quilted design gives the jacket a smart, timeless look and makes it suitable for everyday wear.
The model can simply be used as standard jacket, unaltered can be ordered. When getting dressed and undressed becomes more difficult, we can incorporate various practical solutions into the coat. This ensures the coat is tailored to the wearer’s needs, without it having to look like specialised care clothing.
When the range of motion in the arms or shoulders is restricted, it can be difficult to move an arm through a closed jacket sleeve.
That is why the sleeves can be fitted with a a zip of about 20 cm on the forearm. If even more space is required, you can opt for a full-length sleeve zip extending to the armpit. The sleeve can then be opened much wider, making it easier to put on.
The standard zip fastening at the front can be replaced, if desired, with a magnetic zip fastening. This helps to bring the two parts of the zip together.
This can be a practical solution when it is difficult to grip, position or thread a standard zip.
This model can also be adapted for wheelchair users. The jacket can be fitted with a shortened back panel of approximately 30 cm.
As a result, there is less excess fabric between the wearer’s back and the backrest of the wheelchair. This can improve seating comfort and prevents a long piece of fabric from bunching up behind the back.
The shortened back panel can be fitted with a fastening consisting of press studs or Velcro.
Depending on the desired version, the jacket can also with or without a hood are made.
The result is a coat that is tailored to the wearer’s personal needs, whilst retaining the look of a a simple, contemporary coat will be retained.
