This winter overalls for a child combines the practical features of the GOZZ Jumpy with a thicker, warm jumper fabric for the colder months. The suit has been specially designed for children and young people who regularly undress themselves, fiddle with their nappies or incontinence products, or easily undo their own nightwear and homewear.
This version has long sleeves and long legs and is made from a comfortable jumper fabric that is noticeably thicker and warmer than the fabric used for our standard Jumpy’s. The dark blue Monster Truck print in blue, orange and grey also gives the suit a cool look that’s perfect for children and teenagers.
During autumn and winter, a standard, lighter coverall may not provide enough warmth. That is why we have deliberately designed this version in a thicker jumper fabric.
The warm fabric makes the Jumpy ideal for wearing both during the day and at night this winter. It can be worn as a comfortable loungewear set on cold days, but also as warm nightwear.
Despite being a heavier fabric, it remains comfortable to wear, and the Jumpy offers plenty of freedom of movement whilst playing, walking, sitting, lying down and sleeping.
The zip is located at the back of the Jumpy. This makes it more difficult for the child to reach the zip on their own than if it were at the front.
At the top, the zip pull is neatly covered by a small fabric flap. This makes it harder to get a grip on the zip and open the suit by yourself.
What’s more, the Jumpy is made up entirely of a single piece. So there are no separate trousers or top that can be easily taken off.
A winter overalls for a child This can be a practical solution when ordinary pyjamas or loungewear are constantly being taken off and put back on.
The Jumpy can also offer extra protection if a child regularly tugs at a nappy or other incontinence product. Its one-piece design and the hard-to-reach back zip limit access to the incontinence product.
As a result, this coverall can provide support with stripping behaviour, plucking behaviour and smearing behaviour. The Jumpy may be suitable for children and young people with a range of care needs, such as those with an intellectual or physical disability.
Adapted clothing doesn’t have to look medical. We believe it’s important, particularly for children and young people, that clothes are also fun to wear.
That’s why this winter version has a rugged Monster Truck print against a dark blue background. This makes the Jumpy look much more like a pair of cosy winter pyjamas or a comfortable loungewear set, whilst its functional features are discreetly incorporated into the design.
Every care situation is different. If your child needs extra protection, we can provide reinforcements in various places. Consider, for example, the neck, sleeves, trouser legs, knees or the seat.
Other specific modifications are also open to discussion. An opening for a stoma or feeding tube This can also be provided. If you choose this option, please specify clearly where the opening should be positioned.
